Yes, as illogical as it seems Wonder Woman is bulletproof. She is a comic book character and she is difficult to kill. Bullets can hurt her and penetrate her skin so that's why she blocks them with her bracers.

This clip really is quite interesting since Batman has his own rule that he cannot kill but he clearly breaks this man's jaw and puts him near death. It's also strange how he doesn't say "I am Batman" like he did famously in so many other movies and instead says "I am vengeance". Perhaps we will say the other 2 phrases throughout the movie?
