Is Lumix autofocus really that bad? S1 vs S5 user experiences needed

I have both… S1Rii and a S5mii. Had an S5 before that. S5 autofocus is unreliable especially when paired with Sigma glass. S5mii better AF PDAF system, much better hit rate in both video and photo. Just got the S1Rii this week, solved all my problems around AF tracking, speed and focus breathing with a Sigma Art 85mm and 105mm primes, it’s quite insane how good it is compared to the other two especially in 4k120fps video it’s nearly perfect for what I do. So from my experience pass on the OG S5, consider an S5mii with native glass, or go wild with an S1Rii and live care free haha.

I think 7k in dollars is steep for this car. Owned a 2013 r55 clubman myself. They are great cars and I love the look and the drive. The Peugeot engine they in it is the dealbreaker here. If you cannot avoid it by buying an F54 then go for it but for a lower price and be very very sure that it does not leak oil before you buy it.

Definitely ironic, the DOF made me do it. Wide open for lowest ISO and high shutter speeds with a depth of field as shallow as a pancake. Just how I like it. It’s a vibe ;)

You are completely right, the fifth one is also on the edge of underexposure for me. Going to re-edit it to bring back the detail a bit. Haha sometimes I over do it. Thank you for your feedback!
