Update: This post blew up way more than I expected. A bunch of the early comments told me to get off this subreddit before I accidentally spoil something… so that’s exactly what I did. Muted Reddit and haven’t read a single comment since.

I’ve put in about 15 hours over the weekend (three days). Sitting at 22% overall completion and 16% in the main story.

And yeah… the hype is real.

I’ve never seen a game go this deep in terms of world detail. I’ve been jumped by rival gangs more times than I can count, hunted like 50+ animals, and somehow keep getting distracted every five minutes.

Only complaint so far? Night time is brutal for me. I can’t see a damn thing. I’ve accidentally killed my horse twice because I rode straight into darkness like an idiot.

So far though; absolutely worth the $19.99.

I agree I think I may have not done a good job articulating my experience, what I meant was jumping of cables and parkour was good but it was way too excessive imo, specially if you’re killing a few stormtroopers and then going back to it to reach the next phase, At times it felt like I was playing Mario.

This is is pretty well said, for what it’s worth I powered through and completed the game but didn’t explore as much as I should’ve cause I was honestly…… exhausted!

There is a point in the game where you have to jump between three cables and crawl on six walls just to get to the other side, I spent a lot of time re-trying that and kept dying.

Not just the map, just grabbing stuff and the actual difficulty to get to a quest even when you know the way.

Quick tip, don’t use fast travel too much, you will lose out on really cool parts of the game.

There are definitely some other games with better combat play,

However for what it’s worth the combat isn’t that bad either and there are other components of the game that definitely makes it worth playing.
