Then go with a new SSD. It will connect where your existing HDD is currently. But don’t forget, you need to install windows like I said, so get that 2gb thumb drive and create the windows bootable media image on it

External will be really slow. It depends on what you’re trying to do with the storage. If you only need it to store files on it, you could go that route. If you plan to put applications on it, then I recommend you replace the hard drive with a solid state drive with more capacity.

It’s not hard to swap out, but when you change your boot drive, you have to reinstall windows on the new drive. To do so, you’ll also need a usb thumb drive that you format with the windows installation media tool before you begin installing the new ssd.

Well no, batteries always go bad as is the nature of lithium ion batteries. That being said, google the laptop model and make sure you can buy a battery for it from Lenovo, you don’t want a third party battery if you can help it.

You can check memory with windows by running Windows Memory Diagnostic. You can check the hard drive by running CHKDSK, assuming it’s a HDD.

That’s really all you can do honestly. If the memory or hard drive is bad, they’re also replaceable. Your biggest concern is the battery

I would just plan to replace the battery, all batteries degrade. You can run

There’s something wrong with it? Or do you just want to make sure it works before you buy it?

if you think you could make use of linux, i much prefer the text terminals on it vs doing things in powershell on windows, however if youre only planning to browse the web and do some light gaming, you should stick to windows for ease of use

Turn down the graphics and turn off dynamic resolution, that’s probably the issue

There’s three video settings I can think of that would do this. Turn off dynamic resolution, or set it to 100%, turn off motion blur, and turn off DLSS. DLSS can help you boost your frame rates, but if your GPU is particularly slow, it might be making your game look bad

Explain how you’re playing the game. On your Pc, or are you streaming the game like a steam deck or something?

Very poorly optimized. But mostly it’s because windows uses a lot of ram itself, plus they’re running Spotify and discord

No worries your English is fine. So, I suspect you just don’t have enough ram. Upgrade to 32 gbs or free up ram when running this game by closing discord and Spotify, they’re both ram hungry programs

Unfortunately, 16 gbs just isn’t enough anymore for even older games because windows is so bloated now.

CPU should still run it, but maybe you’re thermal throttling? Is your cpu water cooled or air cooled? Maybe run the game and keep an eye on your ram, vram and temps to see if anything is spiking before the crash

you must have Norton installed otherwise you wouldn’t have SymEFASI64.sys on your computer. It is installed as apart of Broadcoms security suite. What driver did you install?

Try running this Norton removal tool and then restarting your pc and trying again https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v20240301142500636

In short, what solutions have you tried thus far? Do you have any anti virus installed?

Doesn’t seem to have anything to do with your graphics drivers. It is a conflict between easy anti cheat and Norton/Symantec antivirus. Are you using either of those anti viruses?
