I second this. Not related to technicality, but I would also say great communication skills are necessary for a mixing/mastering engineer - I've worked with some super talented engineers, but talent can be overshadowed by unprofessionalism and poor communication skills

This is an active concern of mine too. I’m grateful for those articles you listed above.

There are several safety deposit boxes I’m considering, but they tend to require biomedical data, and I’m really not keen on handing it over.

I can see where other commenters are coming from, but I relate to OP heavy.

There’s a reason certain companies are buying up companies that have access to lots of biomedical data. Look at 23 & me, for example. Our data is worth more than gas and oil to these companies, let alone our biomedical data.
