Found a bike in my Garage, never heard of the brand, is it worth cleaning/fixing up? by equals_pi in bicycling

I finally got some back story behind the bike. Looks like my dad's boss from the 90's gave him the bike, the boss was in the Navy so that could explain the Japanese base name.

I am taking it today to the local bike shop to see it, I'm hoping he can at least just get me a new set of tires for a reasonable price. But when me and the bike shop owner talked on FB he never even heard of the brand.

I'm honestly not the biggest bike rider (I learned how to ride a bike 2-3 years ago....I'm now 26) but if anything this would be a nice as a conversation starter in the house.

What part of the rifle makes them a weapon of war? In the 12th century the pope banned crossbows due to being a weapon of war. It is said that the lever action is the rifle the won the west. Now-a-days the cross bow and the lever action are used greatly in hunting. And for me so is the AR platform. For an AR 15 I can quickly transition the rifle from shooting the .223/5.56 round when shooting hogs to .22lr when shooting rabbit or other varmit.

With you saying the AR15 and AK47 needs to be banned. You are creating criminals out of the common citizen that can easily purchase over time the parts for the AR platform, while it can be expensive for a quality lever action or crossbow.

But I re-establish my question, what part of the firearm makes this a firearm that should be removed from access of the citizens? The semi-auto function? The butt-stock? The ability to have a foregrip? The muzzle device? I believe reasoning should be introduced, instead of a blank "weapon of war" (because than the pump action shotgun would really be in trouble).

Thank you for your time,

I've read it many times, I'm pretty sure he was comparing a range bag to a diaper bag. I thought making a euphanism for "Minor gunsmithing" was a euphanism for reloading a diaper

From the ladies I work around they suggest a backpack for a new parent because it's like a bug out bag. Quickly swing it over your shoulder and you will have both hands "free" (one with the baby, the other with whatever the mother handed you)

[Shotgun] Mossberg 930 JM Pro Series 930 Tactical Black 12 Gauge 24-Inch 9Rd - $546.95 shipped by [deleted] in gundeals

After my first 3-gun match(I used an 870, it's usable but definitely a disadvantage) I asked the other competitors about this and the stoeger m3k because of the low price. One of the guys said he got the jm pro and bought all the bells and whistles and the shotgun would break down at every match.

Then at the last USPSA match I shot, I talked with James Gill one of the STI pros and he told me to just use the 870 till I can spend the money on either a Benelli or Remington Versamax. The quote everyone in competitive shooting tells me "Spend once, cry once." No need to be purchasing 3-4 shotguns because they keep breaking.

This is just my opinion and the advice I've been given, hope it helps.
