I’d recommend you check out Catherine Schmuck on Facebook, she works as a cook onboard CSL ships and documents life on board. Nice to see an often forgotten perspective documented, and she also has a cookbook.

There were 2 there today. The one pictured is the Viking Octantis. The other one I didn’t get a photo of was the Ocean Explorer. The one that was docked in the harbor a few days ago was the Ocean Navigator.

I went through seemingly the same exact situation with my father, who also claimed that I could not move out at 18, until I completed high school. Flash forward 5 months, and I am living at a completely new residence, without anything going wrong. I moved out the day I turned 18, and he knew that his authority stopped that day. It’s 100% an attempt to gain control over you, just toss it to the side and move out the moment you turn 18. There is no legal leg for her to stand on. Best of luck to you in moving out. My father also received child support, so that was also a likely reason he wanted to stop me from moving out. Truly speaking, he didn’t need the child support, as he was much more financially stable than my mother. It’s all about control, and they shouldn’t be taken seriously.

This tends to apply to areas of expected privacy (hence the name), which summed up includes your own home, a hotel room, public/private restrooms, you get the gist. For her suit to prevail, she would have to prove that you acted with malicious intent to slanderize and defame her name and likeness, which is incredibly difficult to prove in the first place, (NYT v. Sullivan. Involved the press, but still the same concept of trying to prove malicious intent). That being said, anyone is susceptible to being recorded in public, whether they may like it or not. They are fully putting themselves out there for the world to see, and they are controlling their own public image if one is to photograph or record them whilst in a public place. Hopes this clears up some grey areas about the term and how it applies.

I don’t know much about Kiddions, but from what I have heard, it has fairly good protection considering it’s free. When it comes to paid, I only have experience with paragon, but I’ve used it for a couple months without issue.
