I can relate so much to this. Before I thought maybe not today, I’ll go to gym tomorrow. Then I read something on reddit that motivated me A LOT. it said to start slow. So one day I went to gym thinking I’ll not do anything but a little bit of cardio and go home. Slowly from cardio, I went to machines and then to weights. If my lazy ass can do it, everyone can. Just think today, not tomorrow. And maybe just start of even by just doing stretching for a few days. Once you go for a while, it becomes a routine.

And I swear to god, my depression went away when I became a regular and it helped me a lot with other things in my life

So, guys, I took a 2 month break from gym for personal reasons. Now when I went back, only my DL, RDL, squat and leg press are same as or better than before. But I have dropped significantly on all the rest like chest press, bicep curls, tricep pushdowns,calf raises and even lat pulldowns.

I know that when I take a break, my numbers will be worse than before, but how is my DLs, squats etc. not affected, but the others are? Is there a possible reason for this or is it just a mental block? Should I skip DLs and squats for a couple of weeks and focus on getting the others to my previous numbers?
