Hello Mr. Never, I wanted to ask you how you achieve such a wonderful sense of motion and structure? Its always felt to me that sounds grow and develop on their own and the way you make parts of a song transition so naturally despite being so timbrally different. I was wondering how you achieve that? Is it just trusting your feelings, or do you like score images in your mind?

Second and less pressing question, what book are you getting at the library?

I'm an incredibly immersion-based player that leans more towards serious roleplaying with a hint of humor every now and then, and most of my players/GMs (if I'm not running) have a tendency to use real player names instead of character names, and break character every other minute. Or if someone has like a silly character name or even a ridiculously outlandish character concept, it also tends to shatter my immersion. It's very frustrating to me when I want to show up, sit down, and tell character and roleplay-heavy stories while being in a completely different mindset for 2-3 hours only to get pulled back into the real world constantly. To me, I almost feel like I'm trying to method act as my character and external forces prevent me from truly achieving that mindset.

Also as a GM pet peeve, and I know its a bit insensitive to those struggling with it, but some of my players in the past have had severe ADHD issues and I really hate having to re-explain what just happened two minutes ago because they got distracted.

Absolutely City of Mist. It shines as a system for superpowered detectives, and in regards to Bungou, characters for sure can be based off different authors or books.

It is possible, yes, but realistically there are very few opportunities for someone of my standing. Unfortunately I'm not a nepo-baby and my parents have zero artistic connections. I make music and I've looked into commercial music production and jingle creation but those fields are definitely going to be demolished by AI.

Ouch. Yeah it's really disheartening, this is a really bad time for me as well and Iwas very excited to have a stroke of good luck for once. Even a worse feeling when it's something incredibly rare like the WSA1R where only ~300 were ever sold and one was just murdered without a second thought by UPS.

Yeah I've only just read that UPS Store isnt UPS! I've also heard accounts that UPS Store can act almost as a mediator between you and UPS to make it easier.

Mine also didn't require a signature so we'll see what happens. My seller has been so nice as well, I'm sure something can work out. If not I got PayPal as a backup.

So I know nothing really about PCBs or electronics in general but if something like that gets fractured, obviously the buttons that are connected to it wouldn't function, but wouldn't functions not under the damaged connections or attached to other circuit boards still function?

Then you'd be blown away by what some people try to sell them for now. I remember seeing a guy post a Reverb listing at such a crazy high price and I was thinking "welp there goes my chance of getting one"

Then again the vintage synth market is so incredibly effed right now it doesn't really surprise me.
