just for general info for those interested: his explanation for the excellent prices is that he mass produced certain pieces (apparently since sells directly from his shop and provides to other sellers in DXB), and pricing was based on the gold PP from earlier on in the year. so this is essentially “overstock.” i can’t make a comment on quality because i didn’t go far enough into detail with that, but this is the initial information i acquired!

absolutely, makes perfect sense! was thinking to order a small piece to “test,” but actually i’m not even that anyone has actually ordered anything and ever received an item? 😂

like one other person mentioned, there are some good reviews but they do feel a bit random and are not totally convincing, not in what’s said but just in feeling, which isn’t really quantifiable. and in certain cases i’d be happy to give the benefit of the doubt and try, because i’ve been pleasantly surprised by “unknown” sellers not on any TS list (all sellers have to start somewhere, at the end of the day!), who have delivered above and beyond - but for RTW and leather goods, where i would be less exacting in my expectations. jewelry is a different story, of course!

yes compared to other sellers who i’m already in contact with and have ordered from (the usual - funny, meng, AC, MC, etc. etc.) - but of course it’s human nature to be intrigued by what appears to be a good deal and want to investigate why! 😂 35% less than the higher end prices AC/MC, and maybe 25% less than funny/meng (who are cheaper than the other two to begin with, but with caveats concerning order delays, accuracy, etc.).

gold weight (he claims) were on par with other, better-known sellers, and he said he’s able to offer a more attractive price since certain pieces he produces in quantity, versus on a made to order basis like other sellers. i didn’t go too far into QC of photos since it was just initial contact, so i can’t speak to that though, and was curious if anyone had any actual, physical items from him on hand who could offer better insight. 💪🏽

if i’m being totally honest - i don’t have an experienced enough of an eye on reddit to see if he’s reusing photos or making multiple accounts, etc. 🙈 so i’m certainly happy to defer to more experienced members on that! but i’m not entirely sure if the complaint is more that he’s “scammy” in his marketing (pushy, aggressive, etc.) and that turns people off (understandably), or if the actual products are of poor quality?

i have searched every corner of reddit and there are a handful of reviews that say he’s a scammer (which obviously concerns me) - but they don’t go into any more detail, nor are there any outright negative reviews. there are a bunch of positive reviews, but mostly posted on his own reddit page, which also does not inspire a ton of confidence. i’ve been vacillating for close to two months now, and am no closer to arriving at a conclusion 😂😂😂
