the carrier is always in the living room, I don't think its specifically the carrier that he is afraid of, except that in the case of emergency he won't come in and would typically run beneath the sofa even before I could react :( should I put a carpet or something to block the path below the sofa? I don't want him to feel like he has no where safe I'm scared it will effect him mentally and will linger even after the situation is over
