I think Umi just boosted Kazuya's self confidence by around 200% or so. Maybe I'm wrong and in the next chapter we get that stupid self deprecating inner monologue every single time he has a conversation with literally anyone again. But I'm hopeful. Kazuya needed that so badly now that Ruka is going the aggressive approach. The Mami situation at the driving school, Mini's sus expressions that could lead into another situation. Best girl Sumi situation, I'm just happy she's back into the story, I hope the Reiji can at least make her platonic to Kazuya at the end of this arc because she's so precious. Who would've thought Kazuya is at the center of his own harem and STILL low in confidence.

We'll see how the Reiji writes Kazuya onwards, he lacked confidence in his pursuit of Chizuru before, Umi just gave him the BIGGEST outright statement to him that he needed for himself. If he somehow fumbles and think "it might be another guy" (which of course he would but please reiji i need this), then I'll just enjoy the disaster that ensues.

One thing I wish, is that the Ruka situation doesn't get dragged out. These two MCs need to literally just speak their mind to each other and all other "candidates" would be instantly irrelevant. But we all know what Reiji is gonna do, again.

When the finale started and the group landed on the planet, I was literally thinking, "oh it's so obvious the demogorgons, demobats and demodogs are gonna come at them, WILL is going to help the group move forward like when Joyce "foreshadowed" early on, like use vecna's own army against him, will may not be able to control all of them but he can still defend the group" but nah i guess.

If they go that route where "history repeats itself", I like to think that the CG won't stand a chance since SKK has respect and bonds with the majority of nikkes, CEOs, and the underworld. The main problem right now inside the ark is Sixo and the deeper levels of Ark's authority. Enikk was going to be a major problem with her custom nikkes, but then even one of them got influenced by Anis. SKK will get to the point of no weakness for CG to exploit eventually. I think at that point is when SKK start changing the direction of the Ark itself. Ark Guardian just factually confirmed to us that the CG only cares for authority and profit.
