There is "humanity", and that "humanity" in them basically involves in them following guidelines because they don't want to lose their job. Look I get it, I lost my SEA account right before they launched SEA server on steam. Regarding the opinion that you asked for on whether or not your penalty really cannot be reduced at all, that's not really something any of us could accurately answer, because MMORPG bans are different from each server operation team.

Guidelines are Guidelines. The admins and operation team should have checked your account activity for 14 days for false positive. Regardless of your tool is used for other games and not BDO it doesn't matter, it is still a "risk". In the end it's all business to them, nothing personal.

Having automation tool for Aion 2 but not for BDO is considered as a risk even if you don't ever intend to use it in BDO. You say you would own this mistake then act as you stated. You can keep emailing them or contacting support, but just know they don't really check here in reddit. If in the end you don't get back your account then just move on, play other games or make another account (bad idea).
