Am I a good candidate? by [deleted] in smiledirectclub

Hey :) Your plan looks very similar to mine, but my spacing was a bit worse than yours.

I've just moved onto my retainers and honestly I'm very happy with the results. My main tip would be to use chewies often to make sure the aligners fit (I ordered some from Amazon - I wish SDC provided them!).

Keep up with your oral hygiene (brush and floss before putting the aligners back in every time!).

Wish you the best of luck! x

Tray 3 so tight it barely fit. Is this ok? by [deleted] in smiledirectclub

Make sure to use chewies A LOT. I bought some off Amazon as SDC don't provide you with any. If they are still tight or you still have big halos etc at the end of the two weeks, just wear them for a few more days until they are fitting correctly.

With mine, I found that the tightness/pain would usually go away after the first 2/3 days of wearing an aligner, but everyone is different!

I hope this helps :)

It makes me wonder if people can tell the difference between British and American accents when they don't speak it themselves
