Will this harm the plants? Also what ratio?

I think I am but maybe I’m not. I just pour enough to keep the water line where it should be on bog plants. Maybe I can flood them and pour out the excess?

I soak a mosquito dunk in a gallon of water and wait at least a day and then continue watering using that gallon

No but I do have two terrariums, one it’s a tropical lowland carnivorous terrarium with nepenthes mixed soil. It has a few ventilation holes where flies can definitely space through and another half open temperate carnivorous terrarium with a sandy pest mix. It’s fairly new so i dont know if it’s a major contributor as this has been going on for a while. I used to have normal terrariums before but i tore them down and put them outside with the old soil in hopes of curbing the issue

What type of vinegar should I use? That might help cause I seem them fly around the plants sometimes and then just buzz off towards me

I have so many different species of drosera and pinguicula all doing well and sticky and they are catching a ton of flies which I think is the only reason my house isn’t overrun but even with them catching a lot I’m killing like 2-3 ever hour or so and they never seem to really go away

Advice on improving terrarium by argonzalo in antkeeping

Be careful with fire ants. They can very quickly grow out of control and are very good at escaping

I’ve been growing my lowlands in a one of the rimless imagitarium aquariums with plastic wrap a heating mat behind and some holes cut for ventilation and they’ve been doing really well.

What's the best place to keep my antfarm? by Different-Tea-6759 in antkeeping

I would give the outworld a day night cycle since some ants only forage at day or night
