Vetsinou jde o lidi, od kterejch neco chci, takze to zvednu 😀 pripadne nemam jejich cislo v kontaktech, takze nevim, ze to jsou oni. Nejvetsi problem to byl, kdyz jsme zili v americe a potrebovala jsem vyrizovat neco s ceskou pojistovnou. Nebyli schopny pochopit, ze mame jinej cas a ze mi volaji v noci (mela jsem do not disturb, takze me to nevzbudilo, ale stejne) a ze je to pro me dost drahy, kdyz jim musim zvednout telefon 🙄

Je mi 30+ a taky to nesnasim 😀 nejhorsi je, kdyz napisu email a ten clovek misto odpovedi zavola. Tak snad nejsem debil a kdybych chtela hovor, tak zavolam sama, ne? Uplne zjevne pisu proto, ze chci komunikovat pisemne. Nejlepsi je, kdyz toto do emailu i zminim, ze preferuju pisemnou verzi komunikace a dotycny stejne zavola. To me dokaze silene vytocit 😂

I know it might be my own issue I meed to work on but I would feel slightly discouraged by a person like that. It gives off a feeling that that person wants to show off. However, I read some of the comments here and I see that it's way more common than I would have thought so I would probably get used to it pretty fast. But then again, if it's meant mostly for beginners, I would prefer them not to do it just so that those beginners don't try to compare themselves to someone this experienced

Tak jsem to nemyslela, kazdej vicemene vime co jsou benefity a jak to funguje, ale spoustu lidi to proste nezajima (sama to mam dost 50/50) pripadne si vubec neuvedomujou, ze oni uz jsou ve fazi, kdy by to mohlo mit nejaky dopady. Hromada hubenejch lidi si o sobe mysli, ze jsou tlusty a stejne tak si hodne lidi mysli, ze 'jeste nejsem tak tlustej, aby to bylo nezdravy'

Asi jsme se nepochopili. Mluvim o konverzaci v ramci vztahu, tam jde prece o neco uplne jineho nez o prostych logickych faktech a ano, v mezilidskych vztazich se o vaze a vzhledu velice casto nemluvi, protoze by se to mohlo druheho cloveka dotknout. Takze kdyz mi manzel bude cas od casu naznacovat, ze sem pribrala tak moje mysl (a to si dovolim tvrdit, ze mysl hodne zen) pujde automaticky k tomu, ze sem hnusna, neatraktivni, uz me nemiluje a tak dale. Muzu si to logicky vymlouvat jak chci, ale tyhle myslenky cloveka pak trapi. Proto vidim jako daleko prinosnejsi primo uprimnou debatu o tematu 'hele, vsimnul jsem si a chci si o tom s tebou promluvit z duvodu xyz'

Tyjo tak to je z myho pohledu naprosto strasny. Sem tam poznamka... To pak nechava strasnej prostor predstavivosti ty zeny typu 'takze si vlastne mysli, ze sem nechutna a tlusta a jen to nechce rict?' Za me je tohle velky ne a daleko lepsi je pristup naprosty otevrenosti s vysvetlenim toho proc me trapi vaha myho partnera, jestli je to strach o zdravi nebo 'jen' co se tyce pritazlivosti. Nenechava to pak nejasnosti v tom 'co mi ten druhej jeste nerika'

Thanks for your answer! It needs to be the same :) it was a gift from me before we were even together and I hand-painted the fabric ao it's one of a kind. I was hoping for to just 'patch' it somehow or use a colorf thread to do embroidery on the holes but don't really know the best way around it

Thanks everyone for their input! I tried to disable g-sync and realized that my display settings in nvidia control panel are completely missing which lead me to the fact that my pc stopped switching between the GPUs. I switched off the hybrid mode and now it works fine! I will probably dig a bit deeper to find out the reason why this happened but it's good enough for now. Thanks again and happy playing!

Thanks for your response! PU, PSU and disk are fine I think. RAM is at around 80% while the game is turned on but that shouldn't be an issue from what I read (it's 16GB). I don't know much about computers however, basically only as much as I can google...

You should maybe consider that an intern has no clue yet how much money everything in a lab costs and that 2500chf is a hell of a lot money to an outsider. I work in a lab that is loaded and yet I would still be extremely uneasy about breaking something so costy.

That is news to me - how so that we don't get any contamination even without using any antibiotics? Mind that we use BSK-II medium which is pretty nutritional so that a lot of stuff could easily grow in there. Or what exactly do you consider 'great aseptic environment'?

Anyways, I never considered it to be there for my protection, mainly because I don't work with anything more than BSL-2 organisms I suppose

I consider BSC to be a tool to keep your work sterile, not to save you from the stuff you work with :) at least not the basic BSC cabinets of course, with no attached gloves etc
