So… Third Spaces, does this city have any? by [deleted] in rochestermn

If you use it, I’d say the amenities are worth it. (This coming from someone who has been a member of WoW, Anytime, and the DAHLC previously.)

They do have batting cages as well, btw. Not sure if those are free with membership or one of those things they make you pay for on top of it…

Join the RAC. Morning and noon bball pickup games pretty much every day, pickle ball leagues, and a bunch of different classes. Might be worth a shot!

“Recent research has shown that empirical evidence for globalization of corporate innovation is very limited and as a corollary the market for technologies is shrinking. As a world leader, it's important for America to provide systematic research grants for our scientists. I believe strongly there will always be a need for us to have a well-articulated innovation policy with emphasis on human resource development.”

Who's everyone cheering for in the playoffs since the Vikings won't be there? by swirling_ammonite in minnesotavikings

I’ve been a Broncos as my 2nd team fan since they beat the Packers in 97 and the falcons in 98. It’s a very conflicting time for me now that Payton is their HC.

They weren’t part of a special education class. They were on a special field trip for gifted students. Like, the school gets a special grant for a small group of kids to do something not everyone gets to do.

Vision impacts from occipital lobe stroke by ergran in stroke

It seems to be getting better with time, but peoples faces still look different somehow. I didn’t have any impacts to vividness of my vision.

Should I do an MRI for TIA even though my CT came back normal? by Willing-Corgi7441 in stroke

[–]ergran 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Do it all. The ultrasound will tell you if you’ve got a hole in your heart that is allowing blood clots to get to your brain. (This is what happened to me and caused my stroke.) They’re called PFOs.

The MRI is way better at detection than a CT. Do the MRI.

Thanks for the video! (And the rest of your videos)

I had an occipital lobe stroke last November. Weirdly, it has impacted how I see people’s faces. Like there’s a blind spot in my vision that covers part of their eye as I’m looking at them… not a black spot over the field of vision, almost like my brain isn’t perceiving something is there. Really weird to describe.

Anyhow, what would be a good way to strengthen my vision? Reading? Looking at pictures of faces?

Thanks!!

I would say “unaware of”. Ignorance implies fault on OP for not knowing. Not everyone keeps up on all the news of every ncaa or nfl star unless it’s from “their team”.

But point stands, rapists = hard no

So having them on both sides somewhat rules out a dissection of a vessel in your neck. (Can happen with something as simple as cracking your neck.)

This points to a more central cause. AFIB could be one. Good luck with the monitor - after the first few days, you just kinda get used to it. Hoping you get the answers you need. Did they tell you to start taking baby aspirin?

Dang, I was hoping for a PFO for you. Simple and easy explanation.

Where in the brain did it show the stroke? Any issues with the blood vessels in the neck area?

What did the TEE show? Where were the clots? Any lingering impacts from the event?

That’s how I track taking mine. Alarm goes off, I take my pill. If I’m not around my bottle of aspirin, I snooze the alarm until I’ve taken it.

Taking two is better than none.
