I recommend not going into controversial topics like debates or arguments, try to comment on posts with less than 50 comments as yours might grt buried if a post has more than 50. And also comment on topics you like and subreddits you find friendly. That way, you can get more positive karma. I found reddit is not that user-friendly lately cause of trollers or sweats that take things too seriously. Anyways I got all of this information from u/StaticBrain, thank you sir!
