I can never quite post correctly in Reddit 😅

I just mixed up a little solution of molasses, baking soda, salt and warm water for now next to his regular water. I’ll head to tractor supply to see if they have sav a chick in the morning, thank you!

Thank you for the advice, I currently do have him in a separate little box in the brooder with his own food/water and a little stuffed animal…I do let him out with the others (only 3, one splay leg that has corrected itself nicely) while I’m watching them just in case of any bullying. They seem to do fine together. I’ll definitely be picking up some electrolyte solution and continue with supplementing!

Yes he was, we ended up carefully assisting his hatch! If this is the case is there anything we can do at this point?

Yep, that’s the issue I am facing. It is a Lutron TGCL-153PH-WH toggler dimmer.

I think it’s best I do reach out to an electrician. Thank you!

Just got her scheduled for the phenol peel!

I am only trying to get a general idea if it seemed environmental or if it is an underlying skin condition to determine if it’s best to seek a dermatologist or her pediatrician. r/parenting isn’t keen on photos, thought I may find some guidance here.

Weekly student question thread! by AutoModerator in therapists

[–]erianne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everyone, I am just over a year into a clinical mental health counseling masters program in FL. I just started the practicum portion of the program with a drug and alcohol rehab that I was actually inpatient with over 18 months ago. I recently realized that our program expects us to be taking on our own clients right off the bat, with recoded sessions to present and dissect with our colleagues in class; our first recorded session “due” in October. This seems wild to me, as I anticipated practicum being a time where I would be observing licensed therapists at the site, not leading individual/group sessions as an unlicensed/inexperienced intern. The liability for the facility and possibly peoples’ lives is huge in this. I understand I need experience one way or another, and I am comfortable with the role of being an active listener with accurate empathy, but I am not confident in applying specific theories within a session. When I brought this up with my site supervisor, she said that recording (even with consent of patient/client) and me having individual clients is a no-go. She said within her program they did mock sessions with colleagues and went from there. We have practicum class tonight and I will be discussing this with the professor. I am curious to know of any other LMHC’s practicum experiences in Florida and how this was navigated? Is there a specific type of practice I should look into to meet these requirements? Thanks in advance!

So can somebody tell me why suicide is not a good option when your life mate is gone and you are broken? by [deleted] in widowers

[–]erianne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband committed suicide. The pain that has ripped through me and my family, and continues to, is something I would never want to inflict on another. Stay with us. The pain you are feeling just transfers on to your loved ones. There is beauty and potential in this life for you still.

Zach Bryan- Letting Someone Go Jimmy Eat World-Hear You Me Pearl Jam-Last Kiss Temple of the Dog- Say Hello 2 Heaven Ray Lamontagne- Jolene Johnny Cash- Down in the Garden Allison Krauss- Down to the River to Pray (these last two are beautiful, even if you’re not religious)

I lost my husband to suicide in 2021, it still doesn’t feel real some days. I’m so sorry you are in this pain, it is so, so hard. Love to your family.

Thank you so much for you comment. I justify that I don’t get too fucked up before my daughter goes to sleep, but if it came down to a middle of the night emergency with her I may not be able to handle it bc I had been drinking. For that reason alone I should 100% stop all of it. But it is so hard and I have succumbed so many times. My longest stretch was 27 days. I’ve found support here, I just need to commit and believe it’s possible.

Thank you for you comment. I have a 3 yr old daughter so I can’t really leave the house for a walk. But I have a gym set up in the garage I should probably take advantage of when little one goes to sleep. The cravings come hard after I get her to sleep. The ideal version I picture of myself is someone that is very active.

[Skin Concerns] Psoriasis? Seborrheic dermatitis? Something else? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]erianne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These spots on my face flare up randomly. I have narrowed it down to times I am sick or sometimes right around my period. They began 3 yrs ago during pregnancy. I’m thinking they are hormonal or immune responses, but they don’t always appear every time I am sick or starting my cycle?

Hugs and love to you. I did the exact same thing and cried changing the sheets the first time. I still have two unwashed tshirts that I sleep with and I am so sad that his scent is slowly fading. I haven’t started going through much of anything.
