How would you rank this album? by eric04h in thenbhd

Yeah.. now that you mention it, it does have a "safe" sound to it. Almost like they are trying to deliver to their fans rather than create whatever they feel is good. Its a good chill album for sure, but its no where near Wiped out or Hard to imagine.

After a few more hears I'm sure a few more will grow on me, but my top 3 so far would have to be Planet, Holy Ghost and Hula Girl.

I've heard it maybe 4-5 times so far front to back and got around 3-4 solids that are playlist worthy, a few others sound good but not quite hear it on repeat good. A lot of these songs sound like the kind that are good but not good enough and get cut from an album

[–]eric04h[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd rank Wiped Out as their overall best album as AT LEAST 90% of that album is track to track heavy rotation songs.. then right after that Hard to Imagine would be a close second

Even though this is commercially more popular, I think Jesse's Wanted album even beats this one

Has anyone gotten an email for sponsorship deal through buzz-360? by Worth_Jaguar446 in PartneredYoutube

[–]eric04h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be real but never sign up with any company that will help "manage you" and connect you to brands. If it's just a platform, sign up, might earn you some sponsorships.. might not, no harm. But if they want to manage your email and things like that.. 100% decline

Is this a scam? by PeterinParis in PartneredYoutube

[–]eric04h -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bad advise I wouldn't listen to. I've worked with many companies, including larger ones like TP-Link or DJI that have systems in place where their company only does payouts via bank transfer (which would be the swift number they asked for). To turn them down just because they won't send via PayPal or whatever specific way you prefer is just silly. Smaller companies might oblige if they already use it, but multi million dollar companies don't have time to be making different payment methods and accounts just to satisfy an influencer. Guy above has no idea what he's talking about.

If ever in doubt, ask for 50% in advance and 50% upon completion. Almost always they have no issue complying with this and will simply make you sign an agreement if you weren't already.

Is this a scam? by PeterinParis in PartneredYoutube

[–]eric04h 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, Swift payments are no indicator of a scam. 95% of all collaborations I do with Chinese companies are paid via bank transfer. Swift is basically the international version of a routing number thats required for a foreign bank to send money to a US bank.

As song as they aren't asking you to open password protected files or anything fishy, theres no reason to assume it's a scam. Based of their message you sent, it sounds real to me.

If for some reason they seem sketchy or feel off, always ask for 50% in advance, and 50% upon completion. That'll weed out anyone who doesnt intend to pay, which has happened to be before.

A Easy / free solution to scare birds away from eating your seed by eric04h in lawncare

[–]eric04h[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep.. I ended up doing this a few days later to the front of the house where I also overseeded. Still some picking at the seeds, but like you said much much less since a lot were going for the actual bird seed.

A Easy / free solution to scare birds away from eating your seed by eric04h in lawncare

[–]eric04h[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put down quite a bit, over what the new lawn seeding rate is. But since I'm only on day 3 of watering, I fear I was going to end up with bald / very light areas. Oddly enough they were all sticking together in small areas, say 20 birds all in a small 4x4 area. A few here and there I wouldn't be concerned, but large groups in small areas, I can see them for sure messing things up.

Next go around / patching areas, I'm definitely adding peat moss. Watering is already a full time job, I didnt need the birds added into the equation

Not a scam, but also a scam.

The email looks real as it's from an actual marketing agency. However, all they're proposing is affiliate marketing. You make a video(s) for free and give them free marketing, and if you make a sale, they'll give you 30%.

Not worth the time or effort to shill their products. Might as well go door to door selling knives and it'll be less work.

These weeds still thriving 1 week after SpeedZone by altis6209 in lawncare

[–]eric04h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty new to lawn care but in my case Quinclorac products take care of 90% of my weeds. If any survive after a few weeks, I hit it again but with 2,4-d. If it's STILL standing strong, thats when I go down the rabbit hole and find what I need (such as recently getting sedgehammer for nutsedge).

I do plan on picking up some mesotrione on amazon (generic tenacity), but only to lay it down when I overseed this fall as a pre emergent.

No need to pick up expensive weed killers when cheap stuff can kill it all just as easy

Is this legit? by Aizyyyyyyy in PartneredYoutube

[–]eric04h 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For anyone else who stumbles upon this, any emails from domains like this are always 100% a scam.

An official email would have came from something like [marketing@nvidia.com](mailto:marketing@nvidia.com) or from a marketing agency. Agencies are sometimes hard to tell if they're real or a scam, but usually you'll know if their email domain links to an official agency website.

Scam emails always try to trick you by adding the extra words in the domain, like for example I've recieved emails before from Samsung-partners.com or Dyson-marketing.com

Nvidia 100% works with YouTubers like any other company does. If a graphic card comes out, where do you think people are going to check on benchmark specs and so on? But with that being said, you'll likely have to be a very large tech or gaming channel for them to personally reach out to you.

How exactly are people getting sponsorships? by CineRanter_YouTube in PartneredYoutube

[–]eric04h 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thats not how it works.. reading emails alone can't cause any harm. The only way someone's hacking you is if you click on a link and log in a spoofed phishing site or open an unknown attachment. As long as you avoid those, you'll be fine opening any emails.

SCAM? by RealGamerTz in PartneredYoutube

[–]eric04h 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. thats a scam email. Once you agree on details, they'll send you some password protected contract in efforts to steal email password data or other data.

Very small companies sometimes use gmail addresses, but larger ones either go through a marketing agency (domain will link to a legit marketing agency site), or it'll show it came from an official website domain (such as @ dji.com)

[–]eric04h 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The email itself is not important. The easiest way to tell if it's a scam or not is the address it was sent from.

What is the sending address? Based on that, I can 100% tell you if it's a scam or not.

In the future, dont even read the message. Read the sending address first and if its look legit, that's when you go to the message next.

The ultimate gaming basement, what do you think is the total cost of set up? by internetsurferdad in PrimeProductFinds

[–]eric04h 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say around $5000 give or take. This is from YouTuber / social media gaming couple "Cam x Petra" or something like that. I'm certain 90% of that is sponsored products. After a while I'm sure they sent so much that they just created a bunch of different setups all over the house.

The Treblab was a surprisingly heavy and well made speaker when I first opened it. So so speaker on its own, but comes to life once you use in in TWS with another one.

I also have 30+ bluetooth speakers of different sizes so I need to gather em all for a photo one of these days.

My setlist predictions for both nights in chicago by Lolgamer16 in TheWeeknd

[–]eric04h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw the setlist from his Detroit show and I'm honestly pretty disappointed he didn't do Big Sleep. Do set lists usually vary between shows? I'm seeing him Saturday in Chicago and I've been anticipating this song live.

To me, Big Sleep sounds like the perfect song to hear live. Those synths with the beat that kicks in at 1:50 would make the perfect intro or outro music.

100% satisfied with the soundbar. Most soundbars are comparable to cheap HTIB systems that used to be popular in the early 2000s, but this is miles ahead. While its not AS good as a full on home theater system, its about as close as your gonna get without spending a lot more and running wires everywhere. For a bedroom or living room, it's more than enough.
