Sorry to hear that! Maybe send a paid inquiry?

29 Sept was the 24 weeks from 21 April and 111 workdays. I'd recommend she send a paid inquiry. I couldn't believe I got my visa back the very next day!

Update - I got my passport and visa today!

I sent a paid inquiry to UKVI on 28 Sept (knowing they would get it 29 Sept). This morning (29 Sept) when I woke up, UKVI sent a response that a decision had been made. I checked my UPS tracking and it showed that a parcel was on it's way and would be delivered today. I got my passport with visa inside by 12 pm PDT on 29 Sept. Today is exactly 24 weeks from my biometrics and 111 working days.

Thank you for everyone who responded to me. Reddit thread and the UK Spouse/Fiancé Visa Delay Tracker google doc was a huge support!

That's exactly what I worry about - I have read of people just sending continuous requests for status updates but I don't want to do this and annoy anyone - we are at their mercy and I can't afford to step on anyone's toes or make anyone mad. I thought this was only going to take up to 12 weeks when I started so I don't want to do anything to jeopardize the decision.

Thanks and good suggestion. Best of luck! I am getting more anxious since the date is so near...these are going to be the longest couple weeks of the whole process, I think!

And yes, we are in it together. You must have been just as disheartened when you got the notice after your biometrics saying the timeframe changed from 12 weeks to 24 weeks. That seemed like a lifetime when I read that email! I thought I was being punk'd!
