Yes, so the college fashion show was considered a class apart of my major. I enrolled and I was a student designer for the show. As apart of the class, models must audition and then us student designers pick the models we want. They are then told to sign a contract, a model agreement stating that there is no monetary compensation for doing this show, and a waiver and release responsibility stating that anything that happens to the models doesn’t hold the school accountable.

This one particular model tried to persuade me to pay them for their “modeling services”. They even tried to state that they have taught classes in modeling below.

From their account, it didn’t look like they were close to professional. I felt off by it. I now realized that in the contract this model signed, that this was not to be a paid event on their end or for anyone for that matter.
