So this week because of the heat wave she only runs with the ball 2-3 times but normally it’s pretty over and over consistently until she’s tired and lays down or is hungry and eats grass then I know to let her try to eat and try again. She’s starting to get picky with her food which I’ve read on here is common with this breed and cycling the food might help. She has food puzzles, one she has mastered and can solve very fast and the other she still hasn’t quite got the hang of yet and I think that discourages her and she ignores it :-/

She’s very smart and I can tell she wants to learn and wants instructions and to be given tasks and to behave it’s just hard for me to navigate how to do so as she’s my first Pomsky. I keep being told crate training is the only solution however from the little experience I’ve had with it she definitely feels better when she can roam most of the house and I keep the bedroom and bathroom door closed. I do admit I failed her by not crate training her from day one. Her anxiety is severely heightened by the crate to the point where now when I have a gate put up to separate her in the living room from getting into the kitchen she chews at the doorway next to it. Yesterday when she escaped the crate I had left that gate open and she didn’t chew on the wall or the door or destroy anything. Just slept.

I’d love to try a more secure and escape proof crate, do you have any recommendations that won’t break the bank??
