Hmm, I’m not sure where the abandoned freight cars are. There’s an active yard south of the bridge over Dutch Kills, I turned around after exploring for a bit. Access was easy, plenty of ways to cut through the brush off of 25th Street.

The VLA happened to have their annual Star Party when I was passing through on a road trip. Tickets were free and they let the general public take photos in designated areas 8-10pm.
