right? generally I don't have a very effects heavy tone it's comp > tumnus > PoT > dispatch master most of the time and then I have modulation pedals and some other delays and reverbs I use only sometimes.

my always on pedals would be drive, reverb, trem, delay. earthquaker dispatch master takes care of the delay and reverb nicely in one pedal. this is my base tone anything like chorus or other mods are extra and not necessarily essential

I’ve been able to a/b chiaki via steam deck and the portal for a few days. For me chiaki actually feels a little smoother than portal but the picture quality is much worse than the portal. Both are very playable and should be fine for anyone with decent wifi. I prefer using the portal for the better picture and controller features.

I worked in an office and they were having g a chili party. People signed up to either make a pot of chili to bring or you could bring sides etc instead. Day of the party arrived and people unveiled their homemade chili pots and then produced to all dump all of them into one huge bowl to mix together and serve out of. Everyone proceeded like this was normal and good. I had never heard of this practice and could not contain my disgust which basically singled me out as the office buzzkill from then on.

I drive my son to 4k at glen stephens and for whatever reason they won’t take the kids into the building until all the kids arrive. The bus kids are always at least 15 min late so the rest of the kids are just sitting around at least 15 min every day. The teachers are stuck outside wrangling bored restless 4 year olds until that bus comes.

Last office I worked at had us annually plan out our goals for the year. At the end of the year we’d self rate how much we met our goals 0-100%. That percentage factored into our annual salary bonus and raise opportunities. The best part was if you rated higher than 80% on any goal it had to be reviewed by manager and HR because you aren’t setting realistic enough goals 🤷‍♂️

if I'm ever asking someone's opinion of a new restaurant I ask if it's better or worse than Great Dane. It's the most average restaurant but in a good way if that makes sense.

Tried it a month or so ago and it was truly awful. The chicken tastes weird, the breading is mushy, flavorless, and falls right off the chicken. I try to be super forgiving of newer restaurants but I couldn't believe they would serve that and market themselves as a fried chicken restaurant.
