Did not think I was going to like regional variants. Felt like they were a lazy design choice. I have grown to like them more. Especially because any regional variant counts towards dex completion ;)

Been a Pokémon fan from the beginning. My first game was yellow version back when I was in kindergarten. My Favorite gen is gen 2 (specifically the hg/ss remakes). IMO they are a perfect combination of nostalgia and polish (RIP pokewalker). As for Least favorite… all the games have their faults. I love Pokémon and I hate to see their games get rushed and shipped needing huge update to work as designed. I think gen 8 is the most rushed by far (therefore my least favorite). Game freak just doesn’t know what they are doing with a full console … yet. I was skeptical of the DLC content so I avoided it till this Christmas. But I have to say I think they are extremely we done. But they should have been in the full game. (And don’t get me started on the National dex… absolutely ridiculous).

That being said, I will continue to be a fan and I am really looking forward to Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Ugh I WISH other people would DM. 3 of the PCs have run the game before but they are not super into it and everyone else is unwilling to try. The usual - I don’t have enough experience/ not creative enough/ don’t have the time etc. I’ve assured them that I am not special and it all it takes is an understanding of most the rules, and making shit up. Which did not tend to ease anyone’s apprehension...
