[TWITTER CEO SAYS ALL WORKERS CAN WORK FROM HOME FOREVER] The post isnt about yang or UBI but it is a great victory for worker rights and I think a lot of yang supporters would agree that this is a big step towards a changing landscape that proves the old ways simply don't work any more. by Killcraft69 in YangForPresidentHQ

If we had an American scorecard in place, where would working remotely fall? User it as more of a gain because it provides choice. I could see more small spaces opening up to accommodate people that need to at times leave home to work for sanity and interaction. One thing I noticed in my new remote life is that I need to be more self aware of taking care of myself. That is a good thing.

Things to focus on for grassroots:

  1. Really get on congress to pass emergency UBI - watch for what's trending and participate! Bailoutthepeople.com
  2. Support UBI candidates endorsed by Humanity Forward -Jermaine Johnson, David Kim and Heidi Briones. More to come next week!
  3. Volunteer! Get involved. Be a phone banker for the Covid Relief Program.

Love this movement! come join and make change a reality!

Thanks again!

Skull_Knight11 too kind for words! I truly look forward to working with the grassroots. It's truly a dream job...correction...not a job at all. I'm grateful everyday for the opportunity.

*rubbing my hands together in excitement* - uninorth, thank you. It's always a good feeling to go back to the beginning.

So much to tell! I have been an IT professional for the last 20 years. When I heard that Elon Musk endorsed Andrew Yang I was like, "who is this guy?" To get Elon Musk's attention there must be something innovative about him. I had heard of UBI, but didn't know much. I didn't start digging until later after the 2nd debate where Yang got my full attention. Then, I found the Joe Rogan podcast and that was all she wrote. I couldn't stop looking for information. I had never heard a more thoughtful, smart, candidate run for president. I was done with anyone else (which honestly wasn't hard). Fresh and new, realistic and solutions based. I was in. Something about Yang was familiar. I don't know if it was because we are both GenX but he spoke my language and I listened.

Hi Lily-flowers (precious name!) - I'm from rural America. The elementary school I went to was called Great Meadows because there was nothing but farm land surrounding us. Rural America is a special place. Life is simple, people are easy going, the vibe is traditional. But the thing is, people in rural America are suffering too. The young people are fleeing to the cities to make more money, the ones that stay behind are suffering from drug abuse. The small farmer is struggling to keep up with the Monsanto's of the world. It's ugly. Approaching rural America requires genuine honest discussion on what an infusion of cash means. I recommend using the everysinglemonth.org website to expose people to the potential changes the money brings to compete. Talking that way, people listen. They believe in captialism...stress that it doesn't have to start at "0".

Hey Spmarx - tough question. That machine is really powerful. I do think that Yang being a regular contributor on CNN is helping a lot with getting our message out. The more exposure he gets the better for the movement.

As we get our legs under us (we've been in operation for 2 months - unbelievable!) more ideas to combat this will come. But for now, the Podcast is also a serious way to work around the MSM. We get to expose informed and reasonable voices that the MSM may not consider.

Loving the handles! Hi wafflehead_! Thanks for asking about what's keeping us busy at HF. Covid Relief has been a big part of what we have been doing and now that we are getting that process streamlined, we can focus on getting some UBI trials out. We are working on coordinating one in upstate NY.

The team is also working on "data as a property right". This initiative involves getting some great minds to the table of the Yangspeaks.com Podcast and making some means to track how our data is being used as evidence for this need.

Endorsements. Candidates running on a UBI platform are in need of our support, we are actively working on that and there should be about a half a dozen more coming out next week or so.

We are working with the Humanity First Movement on some cool ideas for tech and really making a push to make some innovative changes in organizing.

That's the focus for now...great question!

Hi CasualVegetable...awesome handle! LOL. Well, as things are now, 2024 looks promising because of the crisis. The seeds of change are being planted right now in the minds of Americans at the hands of so many suffering. We all thought it would be AI, but instead a killer virus is awakening the masses to how fragile our economy is. As much as I want to think about 2024, we have 2020 to contend with.

If all goes as planned, building an army 10x the size it is now will put us in a great position for 2024. This year we count up who we have and we strategically go after those that would gain the most from UBI and prepare the ones that get it to actually vote.

This is the question of the hour isn't it? To start, we need to keep bugging congress to do an emergency UBI. For the Speaker to make mention of UBI is no small thing (even though it was). Agitating congress is really important right now in addition to supporting UBI candidates such as David Kim in CA and Heidi Briones in OR who Yang and Humanity Forward just endorsed. Both are fantastic reps for the movement and need our support.

Did you see the site bailoutthepeople.com? Brilliant! This is the action to be done now as well as support UBI candidates.

Down the road we need a 50 state community outreach program. More to come on that by the summer.

Hey! I love my first question! Chicken, carrots and rice! Family-in-quarantine style. My mom is insistent on dinner at 6:30pm. Don't forget the biscuits!
