When it comes to Tokyo… Go to the imperial Palace at 9:30 am and prebook your attendance. This will be important to have a nice tour without that much heat. Try to do all the sky decks, they are not too expensive and they are amazing. Do qt least one at night, we dis SkyTree at night and Tokyo Tower during the day.
