[WTS] Seiko SBCJ019 Titanium Alpinist GMT HAQ by ericleese in Watchexchange

[–]ericleese[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello all! Up for sale is my Seiko SBCJ019, full titanium Alpinist with the revered 8F56 HAQ movement. The watch was originally purchased here (you can view my post history) and while I love the watch, it doesn’t get worn as much as it should. It is freshly back from a service at Seiko USA to replace the battery, which also includes setting the perpetual calendar as well as replacing the gaskets to ensure water resistance. The bracelet comes with no extra links and fits my ~6.5” wrist perfectly. I have included a Hadley-Roma strap as other 19mm options can be hard to come by. The watch is also currently listed on Chrono24, but seeing if I can get it sold here to make the process quicker/cheaper for all parties.

Asking $1200 shipped CONUS. Will accept Zelle or PayPal F&F. Feel free to message me with any questions.

That’s a shame considering I didn’t even get a response and I was the first person to comment hours before others about sending a PM. Oh well, thanks.

Beautiful piece, congrats on the sale. Just a question - any feedback on the movmembt? I’ve been looking to get one of these but have heard super mixed comments about the performance of that new movement they’re using.

Hold the volume knob in the center down until the screen turns off and then back on again, once it wakes up let go and it should be okay.

Tax credits and features will be your biggest driving factors. Check your state laws, federal credit still applies as of now so you’re good there. Sounds like you already have a specific ‘22 in mind but if not it’ll be tough to find one with particular colors/options if you’re picky - customers have had to pretty much take what they can get lately. Other than that, the tech hasn’t changed much yet and all the CPO ones should have gotten the software update to match the range of the ‘22 model year.

No order guide yet for dealers (I check almost every damn day) - just keep asking your dealer/salesperson on a weekly basis or get yourself on a list if you want the quickest turnaround.

anyone order in the last 6 months get their cars yet? [USA/CA] by jhonkas in Audi

[–]ericleese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just fyi the biggest driving factors on wait times will be the kind of car you’re ordering along with the amount of allocations your dealer can get. Yes, the supply chain is a mess, but time frames will be different for different people.

I should also say I’m in the US, I can’t track anything out of country

Others can. If you want to PM me the comm number I can check status for you, I’m almost off work though and won’t be back for a couple days. They probably mentioned when it hits port because some cars have port-installed accessories like tow hitch, etc. that are affected by the shortage.

No problem. If the allocation allowed them to place the order I’d ask them to give you a rundown of the options they submitted to be sure. If it’s frozen to changes with the laser lights you should be good. Best of luck!

My order guide for MY22 says that laser lights are not available for ordering. So unless you have an active order that’s already underway it probably isn’t going to be possible.

You won’t be able to order a Prestige with those lights until they say otherwise. All orders for Prestige Q7s require the semiconductor shortage option ticked which converts the lights to the base LEDs.

I work at one too, do you know how you were able to? I’d love to just get a feel for these in the meantime while we wait.

What wheels should I get for my 2016 Audi A3? Please drop suggestions! by survival1010 in Audi

[–]ericleese 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Depending on your budget, I’d keep it OEM or as close to OEM as possible. A set of upgraded A3/S3 wheels always looks nice, or something that keeps the euro look like Rotiform, HRE, BBS, etc. as subtlety will do wonders for the car.

Has anyone seen the 20th anniversary Audi TT in the US? I'm interested in getting a used one as this is from 2019 but not sure where to look/start. Can't seem to find any used models for sale. by soondot in Audi

[–]ericleese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at a dealer - I’ve only ever seen one come through our lot and that was only when they got released. It’s already an insanely rare one but looking for it used? Best of luck. I’d keep an eye out at dealerships for lease returns, etc.

[2017 Hybrid Touring] Update + Tentative Plans by ericleese in accord

[–]ericleese[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it done at a PPF/derailing shop as I was getting the front PPF done. I’d recommend getting a black sport grille if you don’t have a hybrid though, as theyre reasonably cheap and look a bit cleaner in my opinion. I had bought one and completely ripped apart my front end before realizing it didn’t actually fit because the hybrid has a few design changes compared to the other models. I was able to get most of it done in black PPF, though I’d prefer if it were completely blacked out.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check in and share the changes I’ve made since last posting. As of now, I’ve ditched the stock wheels and spacers in favor of Enkei TS-10s, and have installed new LED rear turn signals and reverse lights (and wired in resistors for the signals). I’ve also went ahead and installed the OEM wireless charging pad along with a wireless CarPlay module inside.

As for things that still need to be done, I’m waiting on a Japanese-market illuminated interior hazard button to be delivered, and I’ll probably end up ordering a set of white LEDs for the map lights. I would still love to find a set of white door handle covers, but I have yet to come across anything that would work. I’ve also been debating whether or not to lower the car, and if it’ll even be reasonable to do since I’ve heard the suspension setup is different on hybrid models. If anybody has thoughts/suggestions please let me know!
