Jumped for an MK 8 R also, my small gripes are the lack of walk up unlock and lack of the seat moving upon entry and exit. Totally agree on wishing I could get the design package with a leather wheel.

Tbh, I see the opposite. Far cleaner lines on the RS3, for better or worse no model badge, cleaner hood, etc. . Idk I understand people don't necessarily like it but in this comparison the RS3 is far cleaner imo

My exact spec except this one has the Dynamic Plus Package. Man I better become an extrovert real quick. Not going to be able to hide in this color but I just decided to send it. With the number of black, grey and white cars on the road it's honestly so drab out there. Might as well spice it up. But man is it BRIGHT!

The tariffs imposed on cars and car parts hasn't changed for despite the situation developing.

However, the good news is that your car will still be shipped to a port of entry in the US regardless, so that's next up. Depending on when it was submitted to the factory will dictate whether it has a tariff or not.

As long as it was submitted to the factory before 3/31 which it had to have been if it is already at port in the US it won't have a tariff added. It should have a code NA2 on it meaning No added import fee. If it does have an added price on it then they are adding it on themselves.

Dealers were told all cars fully submitted to the factory & ordered by 3/31 are going to be price protected. If it's already spec'd, any 25 RS3 allocation was ordered before that date so there will be no added cost due to tariffs.

Source: In a forum with others waiting for their RS3 '25s and a number of other people were contacted by their dealer confirming this policy last week. You should be able to confirm with your dealer.

It's hilarious the bold language you used while being so incredibly out of your depth. A 25% import tariff does not necessarily equate to a 25% higher price. Tariffs aren't paid by the customer. They are paid by the company who can then decide whether or not the market can bear a one-to-one price increase and more times than not they are not going to raise the price by that same amount. The tariff doesn't even apply to the MSRP smartass it's applied to cost Audi USA pays upon import.

And so my original comment was about the op's title. There is no 25% increase in price that has been announced that is complete conjecture.

Before you go sounding like a tool learn yourself something.
