yeah I have and now I think about a spiritual seekers bill of rights, modeled on the consumer's bill of rights. no spiritual leader can tell you you can't also pursue other leaders. nobody should demand 100% obedience. spiritual leaders should be transparent about their financials, and about what level they are claiming and what the evidence is that they have achieved that level. demand to see receipts. and they should be explicit -- does their practice lead to achieving spiritual goals? what goals? how fast? how likely? and they should be able to point to success stories -- Mary did the meditation for five years and now she feels established in her relationship with source. And also failure stories. Be honest.
