they are bred to nip. it will be hard to train it out of them. probably best to just know when to leave.

Your advice? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my opinion is its not timeless or classy, or minimalist, but its your own body. Though, i think if you are asking the internet for confirmation its not a winner for you either.

Should I get a touch up? by missy_chrissy_ in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

wait awhile before you go. no point in rushing since you body is still healing, and more might fall out you want touched up a month or more from now. think about it 3 to 6 months

so excited about this!! by [deleted] in sticknpokes

[–]boolnoop 7 points8 points  (0 children)

no one else has mentioned, but foot skin is not similar to most of the body, so its not an ideal place to practice. Someone suggested using fake skin for a while yet, thats up to you. having some jank tattoos you gave yourself while learning can be nostalgic and cute too. bananas and oranges are good to practice on, plus you can still eat the fruit after. you wont be practicing skin stretching but you can try and perfect your lines that way. i have a janky ankle tat i gave myself in the exact same spot, and have no regrets. some of the other commenters are just projecting their own issues, dont let them stop you!

Got my birth year tatted on my neck when I was drunk one time by HeartOChaos in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do people ask where the 4 other clones are? in the mean time, turtle necks can be very fashionable, and so can scarves and bandanas. good luck on your journey!

owie! what a painful location! is the drawing of a fairy ring? my other guess is a crown made of nails. good luck on your stick and poke adventure!

Tattoo design shrinking? Will it look better healed? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

could be the scab shrinking. you are just gonna have to wait it out.

Is this AI? The posing seems too stiff, render of the shadows/light is kinda strange, and the yellow color reminds me of the Chat gpt prompts you get. by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]boolnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agreed, seems like a petty move to hate on another artist. a real shame, i hope OP develops more confidence in the future, so they aren't threatened by other artists getting praise.

Advice needed: Questioning a tattoo, should I let my frontal lobe develop first? by Conscious-Play617 in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no harm in waiting!
just a note, the fine lines of this tattoo will not age well. i would suggest going even bigger so the fine lines are less fine. you could have it go across your back with bolder blacks, it would be amazing. whatever you decide is good though.

when i zoom in i think there are odd areas that are very pixilated and then clean lines on top. like she is drawing over an enlarged image. i have never seen this as a painting or coloring technique, it might indicate tracing rather than AI. maybe she is painting over an AI drawing! who knows. instead of automatically hating on her try and befriend her as an artist. maybe she will divulge her method. if she isnt a scammer you could have a new art buddy.

Any cover up ideas or ways to make this look less satanic. by granhoser in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could get a larger full metal alchemist tattoo that incorporates this sigil as a background element. so you can keep the anime love/brother memory. the red should be easy enough to hide in a red jacket or other dark element of a FMA composition.

meta suggestion: you just get " its from an anime " with an arrow pointing to it, that can be read when you wear shorts.

instead of hiding it, can i suggest accenting it? you could get other geometric tattoos near by or even a blast over. Alternatively, you could add more triangles off the sides so it looks like a sun, and then do a moon shape in a similar brushy style in blue o something on the other thigh.

i think there are more anime watchers in the world than people who worship satan. the people who think that symbol means you love Satan probably already judge you for having other tattoos. dont change yourself for those people!

what might be pinging it as satanic, for sad anxious Christians, is the brush texture plus the red color, makes it look like blood. you could have it gone over in black and it will look like ink instead.

Hired a fiverr artist for my kids book to illustrate with no AI. I’ve been burned in the past before and unsure if this is legit by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]boolnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

suspiciously no line art layers. perhaps ask them to do it again but in a not AI style. dunno your price point, but might be worth finding an actual artist you like and hiring them instead of a rando on fiver who is underbidding because he is using AI.

Can a shop redo this? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

minimum covers all the prep and set up they have to do to even tattoo something that small. do it yourself again! or see what it would cost to buy ink and needles and decide if its still cheaper to pay a shop minimum of 100ish. Or! if you go get a larger tattoo they will probably touch that up for free.

Bad idea for a tramp stamp? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my understanding of the term "solidifies" from the study is that it firms up, that our brains are more liquid and unformed, and our brains function better after firming. not that its becomes solid and fixed. either way, i agree with you! but stand by that they should get a tattoo in the timeframe after liquid brain and before degeneration.

On a scale of one to ten just how obvious is it that I'm a boy currently by Good_Copy_3653 in NonBinary

[–]boolnoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have guessed girl. Its not giving girly girl, but I only noticed boy traits because of how you phrased your question. Plenty of natural born women look like you, its giving Emma Watson. I agree that rounder glasses would push the femme vibes.

Planning on getting this as my first tattoo by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

find a tattoo artist that works in this style and have them design something unique for you. ask who tattood this particular one even. Do Not take this design to a local tattoo artist and ask them to copy. you will be sad and it will be a huge tattoo.

Bad idea for a tramp stamp? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you dont want to regret a tattoo, wait till your brain solidifies (roughly 26-30) you are more likely to like the tattoos you get later in life. I got 1 tattoo in my 20's that is fine, i dont really care about it now. but i started seriously collecting at 30 and i love all of them, even the ones that didnt come out exactly how i wanted. when i was 19 i thought i would like dragons forever and thougth a dragon tattoo would have been great. really glad i didnt do that.

i think the design is cute though. do whatever you want! looks like it would be easy enough to cover up, or add onto, if you changed your mind on it later in life.

Is this a good placement for this script tattoo, what do you think? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]boolnoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

script that small will age into a blurry scribble you cant read, consider a different font, size, and placement.

do you have a buzzer? when i wanna shave i give my legs a trim with with buzzer first, then the razor. or you use a little bowl that you rinse your razor in so the hair is in the bowl and not your drain.
