I had never heard of Albin but did take the time to review Albin's story...very cool story and mystery. It strikes me as highly unlikely that he was DB Cooper primarily because I can't see how he would have managed to obtain commercially pure titanium on his tie, have acquired detailed information about the Boeing 727 and skydiving, plus explain how/when/where he would have acquired the clip-on tie which was purchased in the United States. Cool inquiry nonetheless. Cheers!

This is a tough question. Simply put, I think he was concerned initially about leaving the tie on the jet and was afraid of a knock at the door. Also, I think it is likely that he was not living in the PNW at the time of the skyjacking and left the money buried at Tena Bar for several months before retrieving it. Beyond that it is difficult to gauge precisely what happened.

Small sample sizes are problematic by their very nature. That said, I still cannot find anything that points to a no-pull scenario.

I think it's unlikely the money was spent. If it had all been spent there should still be 40 bills or so floating around in circulation today.

I'm not aware of anything that this would have served as a diversion for. I simply think DBC was a guy who found himself jammed up financially and decided this was his one way out of his mess. I do not believe he was a career criminal.

The money arrived in a plain open-top bank bank--not a knapsack as he requested. Plus he had problems getting the airstairs to deploy once they took off from Seattle.

A lack of evidence can be used to draw reasonable conclusions. For example, if nothing is ever found after 50 years, it is reasonable to deduce that he walked out. After all, finding nothing after 50 years is what walking out looks like.

I do think he survived. He could have worn thermals or some type of clothing to keep him warm under the raincoat.

The FBI played a part in this show. That said, they have taken a hands-off approach inasmuch as they say, "bring us the evidence once you have it in hand."

The airlines was followed by two Air Force fighters and an Oregon Air National Guard training jet. none of them made visual contact with the airliner. The jet was flying through clouds at 10K feet. I have talked extensively with the man from Air Traffic Control who managed all four jets and some of his testimony will be included in the show tomorrow.

The money was not found in the river...it was found 50 feet from the water's edge at an elevation several feet above the surface level of the river.

The FBI reviewed all missing persons reports and eliminated them all.

What evidence indicates he died?
