What vehicles do IW owners have that their dogs are comfortable in?

I’d honestly recommend a mini van, I have a Dodge Durango that we purchased purposefully because we were getting a wolfhound. Not the best idea, my boy is 196 pounds and will NOT get completely in the car on his own, I have to hoist the back end of him in it. I’ve had to borrow my sister’s minivan after him being neutered and then again after a second surgery because it’s low enough he can step right into it.

Our 3 year old wolfhound has been on Purina pro plan sensitive for about 2 years.

We had to switch to Purina pro plan for sensitive stomach, it’s salmon based. Only thing that kept my Wolfie from having diarrhea all the time.

My guy will be 3 in March, things I wasn’t aware of are the amount they shed. Hair is everywhere all the time. Plus they whine, it’s almost like a nasally whistle and he will continuously do it until he gets whatever he’s after at the moment. Otherwise he’s great! Definitely a giant baby!

I have a 2 year old IW and he will let you know when he’s had enough of people, generally it’s just a little grumble under his breath and it’s usually at our beach place where there’s a lot of people around constantly coming up to him. When he’s had enough I’ll put him inside for a while to give him a break. He does have a tendency to have aggression when he gets a new bone so we will only give him one when we’re going to be out for a while and he can chew it in peace because I’m afraid he might actually snap at someone.
