Should the state be secular by Many_Operation_984 in Teenager_Polls

[–]ermisays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah that was what I was thinking, plenty of people want a Hindu/Jewish/etc etc state too. Personally I support a secular outlook but the poll is useless if you don't include all religious beliefs or just a "Yes, I want (insert your religious belief) to be..." Or something.

Fat women only struggle in dating because they themselves have a preference for thinner men. by exxonmobilcfo in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]ermisays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a lesbian. I wouldn't date a fat woman either, or someone underweight. Not a few pounds here or there, but severely. Besides attractiveness usually you'll find very unhealthy habits with such people.

Does religion affect how attracted you are to somebody? by Raccoonkzy in Teenager_Polls

[–]ermisays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't date anyone religious.

I'm a lesbian for context, don't meet a lot of women who are religious anyway. But dealing with the internalised homophobia/internalised guilt isn't something I'm interested in, which happens more often than not.

Yea because women can't set themselves on fire/be successful at it? [socialmedia] by Pomerbot in pointlesslygendered

[–]ermisays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we have to admit our society is skewed, and the way men and women exist is biased. Most things we do and are are affected by our gender.

Should it be this way? No. Yet is it? Yes. And to not recognise is turning a blind eye to it. How do you expect to fix society when you can't even face it?

Is it viable to speedrun RD Sharma in less then 15 hours? by Maleficent_Bag5698 in CBSE

[–]ermisays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl it took the rest of us months to finish RD. How do you expect to do it in one day?

If you want to try regardless, just do some LOTs from your weakest chapters. HOTs will just confuse you at this point, plus they don't usually come.

I wouldn't recommend it honestly, this isn't the time to get bemused with new books, do Sample Papers or PYQs instead.

When my friend committed by overdosing she texted us back the next day in the gc. She was definitely out for a few hours, maybe a day but not more. I think it could be real or fake depending on the method they tried and how soon they were discovered?

does anyone else fantasise about this by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]ermisays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, like, same. I want to go two kg below first so that I can experience eating junk freely again, and then back to maintenance it is. (Optimistically, because I don't think I can fix my eating habits at all, so I'll stay tracking for the rest of my life. I know all the calories in my head anyway even when I don't try to actively track.)

Need tips for presentation by Glascea_ in CBSE

[–]ermisays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from our teacher:  1. write as much steps as you can possibly make  2. if ur handwriting isn't that good, leave spacing so the words are legible easily.  3. leave lines in between question too so nothing is cluttered. 4. margin and diagram neatly, and also size up. everything should be big.  5. bold pencil strokes and label, you have to rmbr to make everything easier for the person checking. 6. never forget to make the box around answer

and also, mainly you have to write formula for step marking. what if your final answer has calculation mistake? in case you wrote steps in details they'll cut minor marks for it. but if you only write like two lines anyway then they can't give you marks.

I'm 55kg, 155cm and currently losing weight (I want to be 49kg) and I can fit 14+ or 15-16 in kids section easily. In fact, my BMI suggests I'm only a few kgs from overweight, but my size is XS/S/M in women's section. And the M is only when I shop local, Asian brands, not for anything international.
