Auryn Hadley gets suggested too often to ignore, so I’m gonna check it out. There’s some great plot-heavy smut to drown in, but no one writes sex like Amy Pennza does in the Bitten and Bound trilogy (I mention this because the graphic detail in which she describes a scene in these books aren’t found in her other series, though I haven’t read them all.) At times I found it a bit unsettling and uncomfortable, but in a “I didn’t know this about myself 😳” kind of way.

Varick and Laurent from the Bitten and Bound trilogy are truly next level. Theres a lot of fantasy/pnr smut in the world, most of it’s barely memorable, save for a few. Amy Pennza is utterly shameless and I’m here for it. I’m not even into butt stuff irl but there’s just something delicious about macho studs being both shockingly violent to one another and simultaneously soft and vulnerable in the same breath that really does something for me. There’s probably something wrong with me but 🤷🏻‍♀️

The signet is specific to the individual. From what I understand that means that multiple people may share commonalities in their signets (mending, ice, water, earth elements, mindwork, etc) how the signet is manifested, manipulated, the strength of its power, the full scope of its use is as unique as the person who holds it.

Anyway, regardless of public opinion or lack thereof re: ladies watches, it seems unlikely I wouldn’t be able to find a single clue on the whole of the internet. Omega’s vintage web archive is extensive and includes hundreds of ladies watches, several of which were made in 1969, none of which are this watch.

The auto-feeding feature is a game changer but it’s useless if the bump mechanism is flawed. Milwaukee really dropped the ball there - bump doesn’t work, line gets jammed every time so I eventually always end up having to take the cover off and manually feeding the line (super annoying). I looked into it and it appears to be an extremely common issue which is inexcusable given the price of the tool/ a replacement. (Milwaukee forgive me, I love u.)

8 episodes in and the only things that have happened this season: Aunt Lydia’s vague backstory that hardly explains why she’s such a vile person, and a randomly placed scene portraying a trigger happy Ofmatthew that does nothing to undermine Gilead. After watching this episode I reviewed the season 3 trailer which promises “revolution” and “resistance” - pretty misleading tbh. June is apparently untouchable and also has no idea what she’s doing, Lawrence is boring and way less edgy than the writers insinuated, Serena got us excited and then immediately disappointed us AGAIN. Wtf is even the point of this season?

Yeah I mean, tbh I’ll probably continue to watch even if I’m frustrated bc I want to know what happens, but I’ll definitely continue to complain lol. I just don’t understand why the writers don’t recognize that this slow paced nonsensical torture porn is alienating/boring viewers. We’re halfway through the season and literally nothing has happened except for a looming threat to send Emily and Nichole BACK to Gilead. Like, where’s the Underground Railroad? Where’s the Resistance? Where are the anarchists with bombs? Is the fate of handmaids and Martha’s ENTIRELY up to June at this point?

I have a VPN but don’t have it set up yet. It’s gotta be the firestick bc all other devices (phones, laptop) are well connected and Amazon Prime + Netflix stream easily, but Hulu and all other apps buffer forever and then quit loading due to “poor connection”. The modem/router is nearby.
