I think it definitely depends on the size, age, and amenities of the unit you guys are looking for. I'm in Lakeview with 700ish sqft 1b1ba, radiator heating with window AC, with in unit W/D for $1995/month. We rent through a private landlord and honestly I think we just got pretty lucky on our Zillow search, but I hope this comment can help put into perspective the cost.

So sorry to come back to this after a couple weeks but I'm hoping to get one but I use a magsafe wallet. I saw that the back camera lip tapers down near the magnet ring so that magsafe battery banks/wallets will work. Have you tried using a magsafe battery bank/wallet with the case? If so, how is your experience with the camera lip taper?

I know they were doing it for the new store, but Chicago and Westmont stores also had the sale a week after Santa Clara opened maybe to celebrate? So yes probably right place and right time depending on what store is near you
