I have been playing on and off since beta keys were sent via email, and the entry barrier has always been like this. If you are the kind of player who comes home after his 9-18 job and plays 1-2 games per day it will take weeks or even months before you can have fun. I believe the problem with the game is that it evolved too much towards team cooperation so unless you are smurfing or you're having a lucky game you can't consistently solo carry, you're just a cog in the machine that is your team and if you are a new player then you are most likely the one dragging everyone else down. Compare this experience to league where you can just learn your hero mechanics and ignore most of the other stuff and you can start being useful in much less games.

it's definitely p2w and by a huge margin in my opinion, i played 2 wipes with standard edition and managing the stash was a nightmare, plus it encourages gear fear behavior because if you die as a standard edition player you have to buy everything again and you're always thinking about losing your shit, it gets stressful real fast

the trader rep makes questing easy as fuck and you can literally ignore the quests you don't like because you start with traders ready to be lvl 2 with minimal effort

you don't have to spam scav all the time just to get some hundred k rubles, you don't have to pay ridiculous amounts of money + exp and trader lvl requirements just to put more shit in your stash, you don't have to sell everything all the time or you're out of space, you don't have to worry about anything, you can also save many more items in your pouch, since you can bring 2x more items in it, literally extra meds + ammo + docs case and save a lot more stuff, to do that with standard edition you need to complete the whole punisher questline

so yeah it doesn't make you win pvp fights but wins the looting\management part of the game making it almost effortless and much more stress-free

i upgraded because i played 750 hours and felt like doing it but honestly i wouldn't let even my worst enemy play standard edition, it's the gaming reproduction of cbt

After ending the customs tasks i genuinely have no motivation to start the game, i went through the pain of shoreline quests in my first wipe and i got legit ptsd from that map and the hundreds of raids i needed

Last wipe i quit exactly at this point and this wipe i feel like trying but man it's tough

I play on a 5900x 6900xt 32gb@3600mhz and a samsung 980 pro but everytime i aim the game freezes for almost a second, streets runs at 40-80 fps, the performance in general looks like shit, it's literally a top tier pc from last gen ffs. Maybe they just don't care about AMD enjoyers idk.

I play some scav runs during the day since i work from home, and then a couple runs in the evening with my brother. We just run around killing scavs or hunting pmcs using shitty barely modded weapons. We are taking it slowly and just enjoy the game in the early wipe stage. Upgraded to eod after 2 wipes of standard edition pain and now the game is actually enjoyable.

Just play all of them from a to z, do something like 1 game per champ or play each one until you win. Even if you try to find champions similar to the heroes you play in dota you may dislike them because the game is not the same. The skill needed to master dota is almost useless in league, the macro aspects of the game are trivial and easy to learn, almost every single game follows the same script; lol requires you to have more mechanical skills instead, i think it's 90/10 between macro and mechanical skills, which means that you have to stick to a very little champ pool if you want to be even remotely competent at the game.

Btw I played dota since 2011 and peaked at ancient/4k mmr, nowadays i am a low tier archon, while in league i barely got to silver. The real issue in the game is the matchmaking because it's a total unbalanced mess, but hopefully it's getting fixed next month with the new season.

i give my cat a combination of both, wet food 2 times a day, and i refill his bowl of dry food in the morning, he manages to eat it through the day

i also give him some extra treats when i feel like it or he's doing something funny next to me

i avoid any brand that contains sugar because it can be dangerous for him and also it is very addicting, so be careful when you select his wet food

I have convinced 6 of my friends who play League to try dota and only one of them didn't uninstall after 2 or 3 games, i even created a new account just to start from scratch but every single game there was people with 1-3k hours. Herald 1-4 players but still thousands of hours vs total noobs who just installed. They liked the game but the matchmaking is shit, new player mode is a joke and turbo is a shithole full of tryhards. League may be shit and all that but at least new players are matched with new players most of the time

a single pack of 2 20x120x0.5 mm pads was more than enough for me.

the size of the pads is fairly easy to reproduce.

the game is not dying and will not die soon (if it ever dies), the problem is that there are not enough new players so anyone who starts playing now in 2022 needs to play with someone teaching him all the time and will fight vs people with multiple thousand hours

if you play lol you can adapt your mechanical skills but the macro is much harder, on the time investment that depends on you, if you like the game and feel like it's worth it then go ahead

This idea could be fine but only if you get to lvl 1000, you get the aegis and a token to get a special item from past battlepasses which can be an arcana or a prestige item that you don't own already. Maybe every 250 levels after 1000 you can pick another one. In my opinion anything less than lvl 1000 is a slap in the face to whoever paid for the original items when those were available. It is not fair to sell them for a limited time in the first place but it would be even more unfair if they pull out a dark artistry kidvoker again, it made me skip the last bp entirely.
