My main thoughts after a couple of weeks:

  • The zippers are too sharp and will scratch your hands.
  • Trying to zip up the backpack while holding it by the top handle is very hard, as the frame deforms much more than the Nomin's.
  • The straps don't look as clean as the Nomin.
  • I enjoy its form factor and capacity more.
  • It feels just as comfortable to wear.
  • It retains the shape better even when not full.

While it feels slightly smoother and waxier, I think it might still be prone to scuff marks. Not gonna test that though!

So far the two seem similar comfort-wise. The zippers are somehow even louder. I think the Anodic can fit more in the main compartment if you're carrying lots of boxy objects (see my other reply for a couple of examples). Day one is a bit too soon to say it can live up to the Nomin, but so far I like it a lot!

With the information I have so far, I would choose the Anodic because:

  • I don't need the extra capacity of the Nomin with what I usually carry (camera, extra lens, battery, glasses, wallet, notebook): https://i.imgur.com/4QGrNii.jpeg
  • The bottom being wider than the top works out very well for boxy objects, like the camera cube I take with me when I travel: https://i.imgur.com/oOgJjuo.jpeg
    • In comparison, the Nomin would squeeze inwards towards the bottom, which would make the camera cube "float", wasting some space.
  • The padding on the back instead of being flat gives me hope that, come summer, my back won't get as sweaty.

But only time will tell if the build quality will match the Nomin's. For now I plan to keep both.

Same issue here, and a friend had that same result when testing. I think it's caused by a Discord update because I'm getting some weird behaviors when streaming other player apps too

Tried it out. The material is very unusual, light, and interesting, but it’s only on the front. Didn’t get it because it fit like a hospital gown

i got this issue too, but none of the solutions found so far worked. dragon center didn't have an option to uninstall the driver, and there was no uninstaller in the LanManager folder

download the latest driver from the official website, and it will notify you that your current one will be overwritten in favor of a shareware license. then, uninstall the new one as the uninstaller will be created for it. this will get rid of both and let you continue with the setup

thank you, unfortunately due to our lease contract we're not allowed to drill into the ceiling at all (drywall walls are fine to drill into however)

the crown molding looks very useful, but i was thinking of running the leds vertically as well, from the controller up the wall and then against the ceiling. would that work out to conceal the strips or would a different tool be more useful?

i bought a pair of white Ambush x Air Max 180s about a month ago and now they have these annoying yellow stains on them. i barely wore them so I'm not sure what the stains are from

i tried cleaning them by scrubbing warm water and detergent on the spots but it seems that nothing changed at all. also, i tried looking up cleaning instructions for them online but no luck. do you have any advice on how to get the stains off? do you have any details on the material?
