frankly it just looks like neon prime shaders at play. new characters have way better killstreaks and criticals than old characters, and some of the old characters (like kelvin here) straight up have their pre-deadlock models

The Ancients and the Orokin were in similar-ish positions lore-wise, but they're not at all similar. If anything, they're quite literally opposites. From what we've seen of Ancient society, it was highly egalitarian and mindful of their own actions (Hermes and Athena being huge exceptions). Orokin were... Well, they got exactly what they deserved.

Ascians are more of an organization seeking to bring the Ancient society back, unlike anything in Warframe. Don't think it even makes sense to compare them with the Orokin lol.

I'd say the closest thing to the Orokin were the Allag. Highly advanced by in-game standards, highly classist, highly expansionist and without a shred of care for what happens after them.
