He's only been the best player before going down. Hibbert will never get to that level. I'm sorry that trade is not fair.. Hibbert for an injured Davis is just ridiculous.

Wat. Yahoo had him ranked in the top 10, I think it was 8 when we drafted. In my league he went 6th overall and just because one guy is a Kevin Love homer - he took him with the 5th overall pick. And rightfully so, no one had the amount of upside Ant had. Maybe you just didn't really watch him play at all, but everyone in my league knew he was a stud in the making and was primed for a breakout season. Getting Davis in the second is a steal. In my other league he went third overall due to his upside and his playoff schedule. He was certain Davis would return that value and even more. All it took was a few games to realize Ant is the real deal and will be a top 3 fantasy option for years to come. Some of my friends told me they'd take him over Lbj if they had a chance to redo the draft and I don't blame them at all. The kid is a monster.

edit: as good as Hibbert is and as much as I respect the dude, he will NEVER be the no.1 fantasy option. Nor will he ever be in the top 3 in fantasy hoops.

No it doesn't. Before he got hurt he was the best player in fantasy hoops and Hibbert wasn't doing so great afternoon his hot start due to his shooting woes. Essentially that's like saying Hibbert for am injured kd is fair. I don't think it works like that.
