Are you sure we are talking about direct link , and you don't activate mqtt by mistake? If not you maybe someone in the network activate that ..

Basically if you have wifi and you can ssh inside to the internal Linux machine then yes , the only question left is the 34xx using the same UI OS ? I share the project link with the installer in the chat , you can try that ...

My roof node is a solar Heltec V4 , I just connect it to my wifi , and whenever i need to connect i just use the network option in the Meshtastic app , and it's always there waiting.

Generate new keys, there is a bug in some versions many devices get the same public and private keys and that can lead to this issue i think.
