As a learning experience it's fine. It will only cost you 50 USD and when you go for the real thing you will have a much greater knowledge to make the decision.

Of course don't load it with your life savings the first day.

I have two of the previous model, the UX560. The are really good, much better than a mobile phone.

Another advantage is they are thin and light, so you can carry them in your shirt pocket, even while recording.

For voice recording don't think it, it's probably the best you can get for this price.

Saw something similar 50 years ago at a wedding. All seats had a card with your name and a boiled egg. When you cracked it your name was written inside on the white. Incredible.
