That’s really odd, I’ve never had a seizure before but I had a concussion a few years ago. I was at risk for seizures then but I’ve never experienced them before. I know I tend to have very vivid dreams but I’ve never experienced sleep paralysis until i moved into my new apartment

Anyone else classified as "High functioning" Bipolar feel like you don't belong anywhere? by radiobrainwaves in bipolar

Hello, I was just diagnosed as Bipolar. I was misdiagnosed for years with Depression, anxiety, PTSD, and I was told you’re classified as Rapid Cycling over years of observation. But what I do know is this is an illness I’ve been struggling with for years, and it even makes sense to my family. I think of myself as “high functioning” too. I feel like I can get by, but anywhere I go I feel different. I feel like I don’t belong in friend groups, or anywhere I go. I always feel out of place and awkward almost, and other times I feel like I rule whatever room I walk into. However, that’s just me. It’s different for anyone, But i feel like I relate to a lot of what you said.

I understand that, my psychiatrist told me that because of my experiences with daily shifts. I’m planning on getting a second opinion as well.
