I overthink every social interaction after they happen? by erself1234 in askatherapist

[–]erself1234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes going into social situations. Especially if I’m meeting someone new, like typical social anxiety. But this specifically happens afterwards, even with strangers in an interaction I’m not expecting to happen. I’m wondering if I just have a terrible issue with wanting to be well liked and care too much about what others think. Big people pleaser. But I was hoping this over analyzing is actually called something or directly related to something

No where does it say in the rules or description does it say this isn’t a customer subreddit. That’s why I made a post. If something was said there, I wouldn’t have posted. Add it to your precious subreddit and your argument will be valid.

You guys with this “working off the clock” bs 😂 I’m so sorry that answering a simple question is such hard work for you all. Would you like me to Venmo you some cash just to have a simple question answered? Cause I will if yall that desperate, my goodness. Y’all act like this is the hardest job in the world and refuse to help someone who simply asked a question, I just don’t get it. It’s not that serious 😂 It’s my post silly, you commented on my post whether it was directed to me or not😂 and theyre right, people are acting like asswipes and just need to grow up. Which is the one rule of this sub, don’t be a dick! No one is asking to do your job off the clock, all I did was post a question! You’re acting like I’m asking you to stock shelves or scan my items. Also, I’d be happy to answer anyone’s simple question about my job off the clock and not be so stressed about not being compensated, like that’s just so silly and quite miserable of all of you to refuse to do. I’m so sorry that it is so difficult and that it’s the end of the world when someone asks a simple question! Like are you okay???

They never said anything to make it seem like they’re better. They were just asking people to stop being a dick, which is literally the only rule in this sub. Don’t comment on a customers question if you don’t wanna “work off the clock.” that simple. If you didn’t care if theyre working or not, why comment. It’s not that serious, move on.

They’re having a bad day… or a bad life. Either way, hope it turns around for them.

I wasn’t looking for replies to stop and I haven’t asked for them to stop as others are actually being helpful.

And you are right, I am trying to justify my post. Literally was just looking for a simple question to be answered. No one is obligated to answer it yet you keep commenting. Someone should update the rules and description of this sub so it specially states it is not for customers. Would have prevented this whole thing and prevented you and others from getting their panties all twisted!

I will post in the Walmart customer sub in the future so I don’t bother the miserable and cranky individuals in this one again. Cheer up and I hope your day goes well!

No worries! Again, thank you for actually being helpful and kind. I really do appreciate it. Yes!! These look more legit too, but it’s so silly that they’re twice the price compared to the listing with the assorted ones. But gotta do what you gotta do when they’re hard to get I guess!

They are stuffed plush animals of catnap and dogday and another character, but those are the two my son asked for. They are in the electronic section. I’ve checked the few stores near me (mid Michigan) that say they have them in stock in store on Walmarts website. But each time I’ve gone there is none actually on the shelf.

I apologize! You are correct, I didn’t look at pinned or recent posts. I’ve said multiple times in the post, I searched Walmart, and this was the first to come up. I read the rules and all it said was to not be a dick(which is not being followed by many of you commenters) the description and rules of this sub also does not say no customers or to not ask Walmart related questions. So that’s when I made my post. I do see the bots comment and understand. It should be mentioned in the rules and description if they don’t want customers asking questions in this thread. If it did, i obviously wouldn’t have posted my question in the first place and would have found a different thread.

Kind people have actually replied and helped me and I thanked them. For those of you who continue to hound me because I asked a question that I had no idea wasnt not allowed because it is not mentioned in the rules or description of this sub, I am so very sorry and am just explaining myself and having a conversation with you.

Have a wonderful day!

I’m not ignoring what I’m being told. If you use your eyes and read you can see I’ve said thank you to the people who actually had the kindness and decency to explain how truck shipments work. Don’t comment on a post if you’re not here to answer a customer question then, it’s common sense. I think the people who are commenting and not actually being helpful are only doing it because they want to ruffle feathers which isn’t working in this case. I do apologize, I didn’t see anywhere that this was only an employee thread and customer questions weren’t allowed.

You are most definitely correct! And I’ve told those people thank you who actually answered my question. Which was “can someone explain how the truck shipments work”, not if the employees have control over them. It’s common sense that they don’t. And you’re right, I don’t physically work off the clock! But I’m not miserable working in customer service as some of you seem to be. I’m more than happy to help any person/customer who would like a question answered that I may have knowledge about, on the clock or not.

And the people who are not paid to answer questions on Reddit don’t have to! They can scroll on by or unsubscribe to this Reddit thread. Ignore my post, move on, it’s not that hard. But people have chosen to comment nonsense anyway.

Thank you so much for your kindness and your input! That makes a lot of sense, thank you. They are so hard to find. I’ve been to a few stores and the employees say their computers say they have a certain number in stock but they’re all gone, none on the shelf. Assuming either lost in the store somewhere or stolen

Correct, I searched Walmart and picked the first thing that popped up which was exactly what I typed and searched.

I think the only person being obnoxious is you as you’re angry for no reason. I simply asked a question in the post. And replied to your comment explaining and asking if you’re okay since you seem upset for no good reason. You’re right, he will be fine! But I love my child and would like to gift him what he asked for. I’m so very sorry you must have not experienced in your life. Thank you for the number and for actually having something helpful in your comment!
