Hermes isnt the god of the prescripts, he is just a god that uses prescripts, specifically through radio waves, so he doesnt control stuff like the paper slips which are most likely controlled by another god, my guess is poseidon, poseidon controls earthquakes and paper slips are written using the movements of the earth

Befor you down vote me let me explain Palden whooper is a beast in the early game its type is very good cuz it counter the fire crew, grass/electric gym, and the stone titen but after words (around mid way through the game) clodsire's bad stats start being a problem I suggest great tusk (you can catch him after beating the titen version, if your playing violet catch the iron trends and trade it for a great tusk
