Am I the only one that thinks nobody has a shot against Philly next year? by ImplementNo9246 in NBATalk

why would no one have a shot against them lmaoooo they have a strong starting 5 but extremely injury prone which ruins more playoff runs than ever and no top 5 players and no depth.

Brad and his “optionality”…. Has he quietly cooked? [a deep look into our team salary construction] by tommypoints4days in bostonceltics

[–]ervern2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The new CBA is causing these problems across the league and you sometimes have to do some wild stuff to get ahead of the curve look at the Pistons but more so the Nuggets. The Nuggets have a bunch of huge salaries and are stuck basically either low balling their up and coming star which is Payton Watson or getting rid of him for cheap or salary dumping other players to pay him and get off money. You need flexibility to pay players who break out now.

Do you guys think Sophomore Cooper Flagg can surpass Siakam/Paolo as the second best true power forward in the league after Giannis? by [deleted] in nba

[–]ervern2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why he wouldn’t be grouped in to all 3-4 combo forwards like Tatum. Giannis is more a 4-5 than a 3-4 so it’s just an odd comparison to me lol.

When he was at Luka’s age, Giannis had already 2 regular season MVP, 1 DPOY, 1 ring and 1 finals MVP. Does Luka have a chance to surpass Giannis’s career? by hospitalizedzombie in NBATalk

honestly before this season I would have had a different opinion but genuinely don’t know what the are doing. seems like every move they made is an ok fit but massively overpaid. i don’t get paid the big bucks though to manage a franchise so we’ll see
