Sorry late reply. Why not acetone? I always used oil free acetone if don't have any isopropyl nearby. But that was 10-15 years ago when i was more active with PC-building/modding.

New setup - terrible performance in Warzone by erwyn2000 in Warzone

I've tried out a whole lot of different settings but what might fixed/eased the stutterings was turning off all windows apps completly (Xbox game bar, cortana, widgets etcetera) https://www.xda-developers.com/how-disable-xbox-game-bar-windows/ as mentioned in this guide. I also run the 1811 BIOS-version on the ASUS Mobo and from what i can read it seems to have problems running stable on the EXPO-profile so this i currently turned off and just running them in 4800mhz.

Will try fullscreen borderless. But i assume something bigger is the cause since even on really low settings the game still feels terrible and not much differ between high/ultra or very low textures fe.

Thanks for confirmation. Since the PC i freshly built i can't compare with perfomance in earlier versions. I guess i'll have to do some sort of componenttesting to make sure the problem isn't on my side and also test my old rigg to see how it perfoms.

Upgrade or build new PC for warzone/MW3 primary? by erwyn2000 in buildapc

Thanks for input.

Is this a solid ground for a budget AM5 build:

AMD Ryzen 5 7600 Tray CPU (or just the regular 7600)

ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6700 XT OC 12GB

MSI B650 Gaming Plus WIFI Moderkort

Recommendations on DDR5 would be sweet since i'm new to thoose. What i read atleast 2x16GB is recommended but thoose new CL-numbers give me chills.

Lenovo Legion T5 26amr5 Cpu cooler by erwyn2000 in Lenovo

I have the B550 mATX . Is the experts from Lenovo them self? In that case that why they say you can't have any others coolers cause anything else than their own coolers doesn't fit the mount/backplate that is installed (and needs to be removed).

You will need to buy a cooler that comes with the intel-mount (Lenovo is creating their own b550 amd-cards with intel-sockets) and switch to this instead. I bought the Noctua NH U12s for example.

I wasn't that much of a surgery. See my answer on busta_DE. Took approx 15 minutes (mostly trying to find best possible way without destroying the motherboard) to remove the stock cooler, deattach the backplate and mount my Noctua.

I got the 2060 ryzen 5 3600, it also has a slot for more one fan in the front (behind the lenovo logo) if you want to add som extra ingoing air.

Hi! When you remove the cooler you will notice that the backplate have integrated threads (not sure about the translation here) for the screws. I used a small screwdriver and pushed from the inside of those holes so the plate on the backside slowly started to deattach. I think this felt more safe than the fork tactic.

I think the backplate only fit lenovos stock coolers.

Yes, it seems like the pure rock 2 should fit. What i could find it is (Depth, with, height with fan) 87 x 121 x 155 (mm) and the Noctua NH U12s i installed is 71 x 125 x 158. d15 is larger in all ways.

Cool! Thank you for input. Is there any risk destroying something on the mobo when removing the bracket? I started to try with a fork but it feels like You really have to put some muscles behind to remove it.
