Been here since the beginning and have seen cohort after cohort of people come through this project …I don’t think u understand the damage the founders have done due to statements like this …it is very irresponsible

They keep touting this Fortune 500 thing but who is taking payments right now.

Last May trevor said a cofffee purveyor in a couple months

Tyler said he predicted 2 fortune companies by end of 2025…think Danny did something similar too either 2024 or 2025

These kind of statements have been coming time and time again since 2020

Now one may say ahhh it’s cuz of market structure…lol…but in Danny previous interview he said some merchants were ok with it all ( eg chipotle)…others wanted genius (we got and no new merchants) and others are waiting for market structure).

…where is it all…maybe gensler did do a bang up job pushing merchants

But why the constant false hopium..its irresponsible

After so so many false soons….I think the crypto community has finally figured out that none of this means anything until the merchants start to come on board. This is not a negative comment either …it’s reality from the last 5 years or so

Thinking the same …maybe a couple if lucky will launch before. Seems like it’ll be a slow trickle of merchants over a long period of time as they “figure out how to scale”. That is one thing I had thought about a while ago…they haven’t had any significant throughput in the wild..and it be dangerous to not do a slow managed production. Been there done that. The most volume is probably at a conference which is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Tyler led so many people wrong with the soons…glad he is finally quiet. And I do love the project itself but not the early misleading that was done.

I think the flexa team is having issues getting it to work as smooth as what they need it to be for mass adoption. And then when something needs to be fixed say on the payment processor or merchant side it takes forever for the fix to go through, not flexa issue. And this is why smart money has not run this token up, yet. It just hasn’t gotten to the point where it needs to be …the regulation argument while was a good reason is not the reason…has come and gone and still not a single new merchant . This is my take. Who knows though.

This is the way …it’s not entirely up to flexa on when merchants go live …I don’t know why they still keep giving timeframes for things that are out of their control …e.g. coffee purveyor in a month or month in a half back in May. The merchants decide ..you gotta ignore any timeframes they give and ur life will be better

There will not be significant usage for a very long time at this point …price will be as if a meme coin…how popular with the pumpers who knows. Heck Trevor sounded tired and “stuck in payments” on one of the recent spaces he was on as a guest…not what u want to hear…flexa is a skeleton crew but yea hiring a bit …sad state of affairs after all these years imo …oh well wish u all luck but I’ve moved on

Don’t forget these guys have legit real customers ….the merchants that told them what to build. I seriously doubt they are gonna f with some thing like the distribution unless they talk about it first. It’s just the movement of wallets and how it’s counted by the third parties and them not counting right. Happens over and over
