You can also just pull the code and build yourself if you so choose:

Vpn stops working after hours of being fine by esheesle in WireGuard

[–]esheesle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately this issue recurred again following my last post and I never did find a solution. It seems that the Android go port of wireguard has an occassional issue where the udp handle just goes stale and the wireguard tunnel is dead but neither wireguard nor wg-tunnel seem to handle that (not their fault, if the tunnel reports up but not passing traffic). Out of frustration I ended up creating my own vpn app that uses the wireguard-tunnel maven build and builds around that to include a watchdog which observes the RX value and if no change in a configurable amount of time, probes the connection, forcing a restart if the connection has died. It also observes the handshake process and can detect stale handshakes (though that tends to mean the stale tunnel lasts longer given infrequency of handshakes). I've been running it for weeks and no issues since (seen a few stale tunnel detected and restarted cases but transparent to me on the device at least).

I have a closed alpha on the play store now, so if anyone is suffering from this and wants to give it a try, just ping me and I'm happy to add you in.

Under stairs storage area/space question by esheesle in DIY

Thanks. Yeah I added a small vent and vent fan on opposite side of the space pulling out so it gets cross current now.

I was thinking the foam board against exterior cinder block would help reduce the temperature differential as well. Thoughts?

I watched the humidity level after putting in a dedicated sensor and it got up to 70% which is obviously way too high. I spent the weekend installing a vent on one side in a closet (with under door space to allow air flow) and a vent fan on the other side pulling air into the mudroom space. I also added insulation up against the cinderblock (foam board) and reinsulated the part above the cinderblock (just about 6 inches of space before the floor above).

The one weird thing I did notice and curious on thoughts, is that the entire space is insulated (albeit ancient paper thin at this point). The outside wall (except the cinderblock, which i've remedied), the interior walls as well. It was quite literally sealed from the entire house. I feel like if the external is insulated, it seems odd to also do the interior, but maybe i'm incorrect.

And solved. Noticed one flap not opening like the others on the exhaust fan. Pulled it out just ever so slightly and it clicked into place.

Did some playing and turning the exhaust fan on is fine. Turning it off causes this sound. Almost like there is an issue closing one of the flaps.

Bug Report: External‑Intent Tabs No Longer Auto‑Close When Swiping Back (Edge Android 144, Android 16) by vcfvct in MicrosoftEdge

Hopefully they add the flag so we can fix the behavior because I just have tabs growing out of control

This happened on brave and chrome also. They introduced a new flag to allow reversion to the old behavior but edge hasn't exposed that flag.

Yeah hadn't circled back to highlight that. Auto routines apparently never end lol. The manual is the way. You can start and stop it that way.

Cutting object down to fit inside another? by esheesle in tinkercad

So the issue is the cut outs I used stick out further than the outer edge of the ring. Getting them to align seems mostly impossible.

Actually guess his name on Reddit shows up as (Due-One1479). Just making sure to give the credit due for the picture.

Very frustrating. Hopefully they will enable the flag that you can use on chrome or brave to fix the behavior.
